Journey Forward
We all reach points in our lives where we must make a decision...follow the road we're traveling because we know what's expected or step into the unknown to get different results. For victims of domestic and sexual violence, that decision is crucial and extremely difficult to make.
Abuse is not among the various definitions of love. Yet, one in four women are victims of domestic violence. Every day, victims are controlled, yelled at, put down, hit, and raped. Domestic violence affects everyone. It knows no boundaries. Men, teens, and children are also victims of domestic violence. Someone you love...someone you know...someone you see everyday...the person you see in the mirror?
Every two minutes, someone in the US is sexually assaulted. One in six women and one in thirty-three men have been victims of attempted or completed rapes in their lifetime. 15% of sexual assault and rape victims are under the age of 12. Someone you love...someone you know...someone you see everyday...the person you see in the mirror?
Victims are not alone in their journey. Not alone in taking a step of faith into the unknown. Christos House provides support for a change. We understand and are here to help. Whether you are a victim, survivor, or a concerned friend or loved one, we can help you during the healing process of leaving victim status behind to become a survivor and journey forward.

The purpose of this is if a victim is viewing our site and his or her abuser happens to walk in while he or she is doing so...clicking on the tab will take them immediately to another site. This will not clear browsing history though. If you are currently in an abusive situation, we encourage you to view our website or related sites on a computer outside the home since your searches and browsing history can be tracked by abusers.
